If you have some pitta or flatbread which has gone a little stale please don’t throw it away!!! Make these Pitta Croutons instead which are low in fat and high in flavour.
Just tear the bread I into pieces, spray with oil (I use a coconut oil blend), sprinkle with herbs or paprika and some salt and pepper. Bake at 180c for about 15-20mins and you have crunchy croutons for your soup! Easy and delicious. And I bet you eat most of them before they make it to the soup…
